I have a 2023 RS3 Sportback and activated a lot of nice functions. But in the Menue 4B "Multicfunction Module" i have the problem with the now deactivated automatic high beam assistent. I get always an error in the display to check the manual.
In the app i get these 3 errors:
Headlight: No basic setting Matrix high beam left: No basic setting Matrix high beam right: No basic setting
When i then go to basic settings and try to do: Basic headlamp setting Acknowlde basic setting Matrix light, calibration or even: Resetting of all adaptions:
It says always status: not active and when i swipe right to start activation there happens nothing, just the "swipe right to stop".
What do i have to do now to get the automatic high beam assistent working again?

Has it been purchased eith function on demand? Or Is it standard on the rs3 ?
Otherwise just take it back to dealer to sort under warranty

Its an purchased extra from the beginning and was working before OBD11. There is just a small trick missing. I forgot to do the backup, otherwise it would be no problem. |

While I understand the frustration since I had this ridiculous problem as well.
You only have 3 options;
- you keep whining and lose the ability to use automatic high beam (or even high beam itself at times I was completely unable to even activate high beam).
- You take the car to a dealer to run the matrix calibration (and maybe pay the DIY tax).
- get a hold of the calibration data from the lights and re-run the 4 necessary steps.
Unless you managed to calibrate the lights with the wrong values the car will not accept the calibration, so there is a relatively big chance the original values can still be read from live data.
When you have these values you can politely ask for help.

I had the same last year
You need to Acknowledge basic setting after performing the basic headlight setting, this sorts it.
