I occasionally get this message, and from some research my understanding is that this message possibly occurs due to miscommunication between the Satnav data and what the camera see's.
I like this function and it is reasonably reliable.
Is there a way to prevent this message from being displayed, or can the chime be turned off?
I've read that it occurs with the MIB1 system which I have (Navi system/Media System Plus), but not the later MIB2 Navi System High
I've coded this on myself and not by using the app. Configured to fuse the Navi road sign data with the camera data.
My car is a 2015 Leon Cupra 280 ST.
Thanks in anticipation.
BR, Nick

Nick sorry for delay in getting back on this have you tried changing the Road sign detection fusion mode: From the Skoda Forums I have seen that you can have Road Sign Fusion which uses both satnav and camera, Road Side detection (which I think means only use the camera and there is one other as well but not near the car so cant find the name.
I have changed mine to road side detection but i did see that although the change is accepted you may have to wait a few hours for it to take effect (which is what I am doing now). What I did notice is when I drove my car with MIB1 Unit off no error message, as soon as I turned it on then the error came up.

Any updates on stopping the error occurring?
I coded this function a couple of days ago and do find it useful, but the error warning is annoying.

No no update on this I am afraid I have tried with all the different settings and error still shows but it does work.
I plan to do software upgrade later in Jan and see it that makes any difference.

If you are updating Just for this, save your time. The MIB1 low headunit is and will ever be unable to provide predictive route data, which is needed for traffic sign recognition. As the camera itself is too unreliable (for example, its not able to distigunish between the varities of City boundary signs (Entering, leaving,...) Or Timed Limits. These Data have to be provided by the nav. So they designed the system to never Work standalone I am afraid.

All I can say is it works very well at the moment with the exception of the error message and dong.
Head Unit update is just something I have not tried to see if it solved the error message.
