Hey Don,
I have been trying to find the post about DRL dipping when the headlamps are on, but i can’t find it. So in thought if message you.
At present i have my DRLs turn off when I have the turn signal/hazard warning lights on.
Id like to have the DRL dip to 31 when my headlamps turn on. Can you help me with this? I read on a thread that it was this:
Leuchte2SL VLB10 (left-side DRL) Leuchte3SL VRB21 (right-side DRL)
Lichtfunktion E > Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) Lichtfunktion F > not active Dimmwert EF > 40 Dimming Direction EF > maximum
But this had no effect.
Current parameters:

Any help would be appreciated!!

Chris: arrrhhhh........... that's much better -thank you.
As I say in ALL my posts (see the words in my signature) I don't answer questions relating to coding in "Messages". My position is that forums are about sharing problems and fixes with the community and forum "Messages" are antithetical to this objective - because they are about one-to-one discussions. Don't get me wrong, my view is that each forum facility has its purpose - but it's important that these individual purposes are kept separate. Plus as I say in my signature at the bottom of ALL my posts - discussions in the forum proper often garner input from other colleagues which is very useful (to me especially - because I learn)!! And - in regard to your PM question: Whats it like knowing that people want your help? my frank answer is - it's humbling!! However, if you prefer that I am Earnest (instead of Frank ) - I would add that my responses to requests for help from my forum colleagues carry with them an obligation (which I take seriously) to be actually useful! Alas, I suspect that I fail often with this latter objective - but I am sufficiently obstinate (and resolute) to continue to try!
But in case your question has another motive -most assuredly, I see absolutely no power structure in those that ask for help in this forum and in those that reply to these requests. IMHO, it's abhorrent and it's just plain delusional to confuse knowledge about car-coding with a sense of superiority!! We ALL know stuff - we ALL have different expertise (I'm sure that you know lots about matters which I'm totally ignorant)!!
That said - we all have our personal preferences about how stuff should be done - one of my preferences happens to be that coding questions should be discussed in the forum proper - for the reasons I've outlined above!!

Thanks Don,
So what about my leuchte set question? 👀

Chris: I've tried to follow the programming in the Leuchte-set that you posted - but I can't understand what's happened (this is the reason for the delay in my reply about this matter). In the end, I had to give-up trying to amend your values.
The only way-forward that I can suggest is to abandon the values in your screenshots and instead to apply a form of factory settings - but I'm guessing which particular factory Leuchte-set values might be suitable to this car!
My suggestion below includes the "DRL wink" function - which switches-OFF DRLs during daylight on one car-side when the turn-signal is activated. I'm not sure if this is your want? My remaining uncertainty is the status of the "mating-pair" of DRL Leuchte-sets that are necessary for my suggestion to work (to set-up the power supply for the DRLs). I'm assuming that the settings in these additional DRL Leuchte-sets have not been changed from the original factory values - however, my reliance on this requirement might not be correct!
If my suggestion below is unsuccessful - more dialogue will be necessary!! What country is this?

Hey Don,
Your recommendations worked for the leuchte sets. The DRL now dips with the headlights
Thanks for the help!
