My service reminder seems to come on too soon. The car was originally on a flexible service of 32200 KM and 2 years but I then started to use an independent garage and have the service done at fixed intervals of 16000KM or 1 year.
It was last serviced 31 Jan 2023 and already the reminder is on after only 14000KM (8700 miles).
The values in the Dashboard module are as follows:
FIX Channel Adaptations
1. FIX: Reset value for next mileage-dependent inspection = 32200 KM
2. FIX: Reset value for next time-dependent inspections = 365 Days
3. FIX: Max. distance until next mileage-related inspection = 16000 KM
4. FIX: Maximum time until next time-dependent inspection = 365 Days
5. FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection = 14000 KM
6. FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection = 234 Days
SIE Channel Adaptations
1. SIE: minimum value km-driving distance/inspection = 15000 KM
2. SIE: time from inspection = 234 Days
3. SIE: maximum value km-driving distance/inspection = 30000 KM
4. SIE: maximum value of time between inspections = 730 Days
5. SIE: distance driven from inspection = 14000 KM
6. SIE: oil quality = Poor oil quality
SIA Channel Adaptations
1. SIA: maximum value of time to service = 365 Days
2. SIA: maximum value of distance to service = 15000 KM
I think the garage may have changed some of the parameters and I suspect they have changed FIX no 3 to a 16000KM interval and SIE no 6 from good to poor oil quality.
However, the warning has come on after only 14000KM which I suspect is because the car is being tracked on the SIA value of 15000KM.
I tried to change the SIA value to 16000 KM but I got a BASIC Setting B201000 error which I could not get rid of until I reverted it back to 15000 KM.
What should my settings be to get this working correctly and if it involves changing the SIA value how do I do this without getting the error?
Many thanks for any help you can give.
Phil
