Hello, I've a question about the ECUs really present on my car.
I suppose that the gateway list is corrupted and I whish to compile the correct list on it. I whant to be sure that the list of the ECUs stored on the gateway is correct and that there are no missings. Is there a way with OBDEleven to check if an ECU is really present or to get the real list of ECUs present so that I can memorize it correctly? Thank you very much, Enrico

Enrico: Hi. Short answer is YES. When you access the Control Units screen (see the first screenshot in the 2nd set of pictures below), the color of the circle against each module (the circle contains a number which is the address of the module on the CAN network) tells you the status of the module on the Gateway Installation List (GIL)
To decode the color options - read HERE. There are 2 x ways of aligning the GIL with the installed modules on the car: Manual and Automatic. If you are using Android, you can automatically restore the GIL by activating AUTOCODE - see instructions below from whataboutthis : 1/ From the Main menu select Settings
| 2/ TSettings Menu ensure Autocode Gateway List is set to show, if not change it to show
| 3/ Connect to car and you should get the following popup box , Select Yes and any missing control units will be ADDED

If you are using iOS, you will need to restore the GIL manually.
To do this, look at the Control Units screen (i.e. the first screenshot below) and in particular - notice the color surrounding the module number
To fix - follow the steps below (add tick to the missing module IDs in the last screenshot): Don
