Hi there, I bought a 2018 Q7 recently and got the OBDEleven scanner because I have a year of CPO warranty.
How can I know for sure whether faults are current vs historical and not cleared?
I found 7 faults. I am planning to have the car in for an assessment. I told them about the codes, the salesperson said "we can confirm when you come that the codes are historical and not current, and they just weren't cleared."
I'm pretty concerned about being screwed around by the dealership and them not fixing issues by saying the are historical when they are actually current - two of these faults have Audi TSBs.
