Hello all,
My cornerning lights (H7 static bulbs) on my MK7 VW Golf GTD have stopped randomly working. I've changed the bulbs, made sure my car isn't in Eco mode or anything and they still won't activate under any circumstances.
I know the bulbs are working because I can make them come on by doing an output test on the dim static afs light section of the app.
No errors or anything showing up...

Any ideas before I take it to VW?

If your cornering lights are not working and there are no errors reported in your SCAN (and the lamps are working as proven via the output function)- it means that the car is perfectly happy with the non-operational lights.

Now, whilst I can't say with absolute certainty (because anything is possible) - this generally means that the coding values for the static AFS function in the car have instructed the central electrics module NOT to activate the cornering lights.

So, before you throw a huge amount of your hard-earned money at a dealer - I suggest that you search the change records in History for any coding modifications related to the hex09 module. If you find any AFS modifications - revert the settings back to "old value"
