This feature is allows the puddle lights in the mirrors to turn on even when they are folded. This app is available for the 2017 and newer models and was hoping it can imported to the 2011 model.
The app description for the 2017 model is below:
“ The factory configuration is set to light up the puddle lights when the mirrors are unfolded.
Enabling this function, you can turn on the puddle lights with mirrors still folded
Functions
OFF - Mirror lights will be disabled after the mirrors are folded
ON - Mirror lights will remain enabled after the mirrors are folded
Requirements
The vehicle must have auto-fold mirrors and puddle lights enabled
