Hi Guys i have 2015 golf 7 GTE and unlike all the other GTEs so mine has not the driving mode menu in the infotainment system so i can change between. Does any one know how to code/ adapt so i get this menu visible ? Thanks

golfwagen2000 : Hi. This tweak is now well established and the instructions appear on many forums. Do this:
- Ignition-ON, Engine-OFF
- Fire-up OBD11 software and connect to dongle
- Navigate to the Information Control Unit (it has "5F" in the colored circle)
- Select Adaptation option
- Enter "menu" into the search box and select Vehicle menu operation
- Select menu_display_driving_school and change setting to activated
- Select menu_display_driving_school_over_threshold_high and change to activated
- Return to step 5 above
- Enter "list" into the search box and select Vehicle function list CAN
- Select Driving_school and change to Available
- Select Driving_school_msg_bus and confirm setting is Databus Infotainment
- Exit OBD11 and remove dongle
- Cycle the ignition key

don(52) I don’t think that’s what he’s asking for, I think he wants eco independent sport kinda thing, but that’s SWaP and also wiring and parts As in this  image upload

Hi Guys and thank for answering my thread. But what iam asking about is the driving mode as pure electric drive or hybrid auto or battery hold and battery charge options. Some guy told me that i need to upgrade the gateway but iam wondering why do i need to upgrade it since this option has came with the first 2015 GTEs and its not a facelift option.I dont know how to upload photos here but i attached an example picture in this link below ibb.co/48ZKHgZ |

hi all does anybody know how to edit the modes had to change my gateway for another mode and flash back driver profiles, but noticed the other day; there are only 3 options in each one now
eco press info and i now only have i think 3 options in there. there was alot more before. same for all my profiles only 3 in each. thanks Paul

Driving profiles (FPA) in MK7 GTE are activated by dataset in module 19 (gateway). It's beyond the scope of OBD11. You need to find dataset and upload it to gateway using VCP or Odis.  |
