Hey I just got a 2017 golf with ACC and love it but its a pain having to turn ACC back on after using the brake pedal is there anyway to make it auto resume ACC or have it resume with a press of the gas pedal after braking ?

Braking for bends or parked cars and stuff, is TJA traffic jam assist ? the car slows and brake for moving car in front if that's what that is. Its mainly bends that I need to brake just a little for but having thought about it unless it auto disabled under 20mph having ACC come back on with gas pedal is gonna end up with me forgetting its on when parking and going into something  Is it possible to remap the Set/Resume to other keys on the wheel ? like the shifting paddles ?

Hitting the brake while moving always disables ACC. There is no way of coding a different behavior.
I takes some time to gain trust to the ACC follow to stop and even after 6 years if using it daily I still have moments where I take over. You will get used to it.
When ACC has brought the car to a full stop without driver intervention and the car should resume automatically, there are some codings to check (driveaway related bits to enabled, pretriggertime reduction to be disabled)

I think the instructions were clear. It is not really helpful to give step-by-step guides in every opportunity. I am sure there are plenty of tutorials on general long coding.
There are no strings attached: Set the indicated bits according to my descriptions and test of they have the desired effect.
