Is there a code to silence the light on warning sound when you get out of the car and leave the lights on? dv52 (Australia)

Serg: Hello again Try this:
- Go to the central electrics module
- Select adaptation
- Depending on the build year of the car:
- If built before mid-2016, in the search box, enter "Assist" and select Assistance light functions
- If built after mid-2016, in the search box, enter "uebergr" and select Außenlicht_uebergreifend
- Select Fahrlichtwarnung_Hinweis_Konfig (which means "Driving light warning note configuration")
There are 4 x allowable options for this channel as follows (note: LDS = LichtDrehSchalter=Rotary-Light-Switch)
- Kein Hinweis - No warning note
- Hinweis in LDS-Stellung Null - warning note when LDS is in 0 position
- Hinweis in LDS-Stellung SL - warning note when LDS is in Parking-light/Side-light position
- Hinweis in LDS-Stellung Null und SL - warning note when LDS is in 0 position, or in Parking-light/Side-light position
- Select option 1 above

Hi, I couldn't answer before due to work issues. Sorry. To which I was going, here I leave a video of me so that you can verify the sound that I say and that I would like to be able to silence it if there is any way. I tried the previous coding but when I entered I saw that it was already selected as you had already indicated. So I couldn't do anything else.

Thanks for the video, but again it doesn't provide much information!!
All that I know is that the car is asking for the lights to be switched-off - but I don't know which lights are turned-on when you leave the car and the position the rotary light switch and whether you have activated single side parking lights
The tweak that I suggested will ONLY silence the alarm if you leave the Parking-lights switched-ON

I'll tell you exactly what happens. We started out by installing an automatic light switch in the car, which I found on Aliexpress and which DOES NOT act nor is coded like the original VW one. I put your link here to see exactly what I mean. a.aliexpress.com/_EHA3lgR This switch makes the effect of Coming home and living home YOUR WAY, leaving it selected in the AUTO mode. ibb.co/tbxTx4jAs I said before, it is not the auto mode that VW has in its auto light control, since the light sensor is not coded with the control unit, nor does it bring the sensor to the height of the interior mirror. But it has an elxpirpio light sensor included and it is operated. No need to be coded or anything. Then, when it is time to leave it in the car, and take the key out of the ignition and open the door, the daytime lights turn on, and remain on for 30 seconds, (the so-called CH/LH acts). It is at that moment in which the car recognizes that the lights have been left on and begins that audible and visual reminder. Therefore, since it is so annoying to hear it all the time I get in and out of the car, I wanted to silence that sound, the fact that the warning is shown on the screen does not It worries me so much. But the warning sound, on the other hand, is quite annoying to me and my family. I'm going to show a short video where you can see how the remote control stays on and the lights on. Let's see if that's the case with this one. Clarification is a little easier to know how to silence this sound.

Arrhhh............. that's better!! Your hadn't previously mentioned that the rotary light switch on this car had been replaced by a non-OEM unit! This is a very important piece of information that should have been included in your first post because as I understand from your last post, the warning sound started after the new rotary light switch was installed. By definition, VW never designed their cars (including the way that the lights-ON warning sound operates) with the Aliexpress switch installed (which has non-OEM functionality). I have absolutely no idea how this new switch integrates into the OEM circuits, or how it affects the OEM coding on this car.
Again, I don't know - but if the CH/LH function leaves the low-beam switched-on, then this by-passes my tweak instructions. And even if the CH/LH function leaves the side-marker lights switched-on, there's no guarantee that the new non-OEM switch is compatible with my tweak.
I repeat - I simply know nothing about the Aliexpress switch
My recommendation is that you discuss this problem with the seller of the new switch because it's clearly different to the VW switch. Don
