hi, i have a 2013 a3 8v with no auto hold, i hardcoded it to make it permanent and now it works all the time, but i looked at the new apps and i noticed that there is the option to activate the menu in the mmi in so as to act as a physical key, has anyone tried the app or found manual coding? many thanks to whoever can help me.

cluster : Hi -I guess that this is a "Yankee" model car!!
I agree- don't ever use One Click Apps - they make changes to the car that are undisclosed!! So, I've only done this tweak on a mk7 Golf, but because the Audi A3 8V has the same MQB platform build - the change should work on your car. The tweak goes like this: - Ignition-ON, engine -OFF
- Fire-up OBD11 software and connect to dongle
- Go to the Control Units screen
- Navigate to the Brake module @ address hex03 on the CAN network
- Scroll-down the list of options and select Long coding
- Navigate to Byte 28 and place tick in Bit 4
- Activate the change
- Exit OBD11 software, remove dongle and cycle the ignition key
- On the Golf - this change adds a new entry called "Auto Hold" in the Parking and maneuvering settings screen which allows the user to select the following options:
- Activated
- Deactivated
- Last setting (not applicable to this car because there is no AUTO HOLD switch installed on center console)
- Search through the Audi A3 8V screen options for similar new "AUTO HOLD" entry

hello, thank you very much for the answer, I have already tried to make this change in long encoding in 03 but with bit 4 selected (BAP autohold) no menu appears in my mmi, instead in a video on a golf I actually saw that it appeared the voice auto hold and it was selecting the modes, i also tried to reset the mmi after encoding but nothing appeared, what should i do?
