anyone know the coding or the area to allow window operation after ignition is turned off and a door opened?
this drives me nuts.. you have to put the key back in and set ignition on again and you haven't left or locked the vehicle.. I could use the app but have paid for full Pro Plan and don't want to waste money on credits.
Just can't find the coding area.. I saw an example for an older Golf but can't find that specific entry in my history.txt file.
ps.. older models have a different controller hence a different entry.
any help appreciated

getting somewhere now..
I looked at a video for keeping windows operational after opening the car door (ignition off) Ok it was a Golf but i was looking for the exact same line in my downloaded History.TXT file (back up of the Polo's settings)
this is the video at 5:42 into the content:
To fix this guys Golf in the video he was looking for this entry:
Freigabenachlauf_FH_bei_Tueroeffnen:
active
which when translated to English means:
Release run-on FH when opening: active.
What you really need to do is set it to is Not Active
I'm going to try to locate this with OBDEleven over the next few days.. will report back.👍

Solution found
this not only works temporarily as in the video above but after the door is re-shut as well.
for anyone interested this is the routine for a Polo AW
Fit the OBD dongle into the socket, put ignition on and connect the OBDEleven app
Select your car from the Garage.
select Control Units
then select Central Electrics
in Security Access enter 31347
Select Adaptations
Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select ZV Komfort
look for entry Freigabenachlauf_FH_bei_Tueroeffnen and Tap that line (it will probably state 'Active)
Select Not active
then press and hold Green Tick. adaption should be done now.
Hope this helps someone

Update
After successfully keeping the windows operable.. I can to use the remote to open the car windows a little from inside the house as it is nearly 30c outside and god know what the inside of the car is.. no able to operate remote windows from the fob.
i did look at a YT video and there are a lot of steps to switch this on (which I carefully wrote down).. then I noticed on this guys golf he hd to enable comfort windows from the car display unit.. Car/setting/open closing.
before messing with anything else I thought I'd have a look and sure enough the option was now OFF!..
I set it to ON and 'ALL windows' and we're back in business. Phew!
