Enable Dynamic Turn Signals on LED Headlights?

I've been working on this idea for a while. I agree with you that the trunsignals in both headlights look identical, but this can not be proven officially and Audi does not give any information about it!!!

According to the wiring diagram, it is possible in theory to equip the headlights with dynamic flashing. Important for this principle is the Central Electrics, the LED modules in the headlights and the multifunction module, the Central Electric controls the dynamic flashing in the different phases, because at this point it is important that there are certain situations in which the dynamic flashing light must be static! The Turnsignals itself are controlled by the LED module of the headlight, which in turn works together with the multifunction module! At this point you need to know, that the LED Modul of the Headlight controls the Headlight itself but needs information from the Multifunction Modul and Instructions from the Central Electric!  e.g: Position (height) of the vehicle due to loading. This in turn is important for the level sensor, which sends its information back to the LED module which controls the headlight leveling too!

I have the thought that it should be enough to replace the LED module of the LED headlights by the LED module of the matrix headlights, but unfortunately I can not try this.

The problem with this replacement could be the parameterization, because the LED module of the matrix headlights controls more LEDs than the LED module of the LED headlights. But on the other hand, what's not there can't be controlled and at most will lead to errors in operation. But maybe you want to try this and report.

It is important to note that then everything must be recalibrated and by replacing there is a possibility of a defect of the headlights. Another option is to directly install the matrix headlights, but that would be another rather complicated Topic!


Important: This information is based on my research! There is neither the correctness given nor the security that it works! I am not an Audi engineer or technician! Only a layman and hobbyist! In addition, this modification would have to be tested, accepted and entered in the vehicle documents. (At least in Germany) Every Change on your own Risk!

I am also from the Netherlands and did send u a message (offtopic), but i believe u really need the Matrix LED Headlights in order to get the Dynamic turn signals in the front.
The lights itself look the same, but i assume you dont have the specific module inside the normal LEDS to make it work like Dynamic..
