Hello all, I will be replacing my G336 sensor on my 2015 MK7 GTI. I have the sensor ready to go but cannot find an area where to type in the basic settings group #142. This is so the sensor can get adapted to the engine control module. It is just a list of basic settings in the Engine control module. I am using OBDeleven next gen on the iOS app. Is this feature really not available on OBDeleven? Attachments:

You won't ever find " basic settings group #142" on a mk7 Golf because the modules in the car use newer UDS/ODX protocols.
Numbered groups (like #142) were a feature of older style modules - so I suspect that your instructions were meant for an earlier model Golf (maybe Golf-mk6?)
Anyhow - on a mk7/mk7.5, the old Numbered Group channels are replaced by channels with written names that are evocative of the intended purpose of the function.
I'm not sure what particular engine was installed in this car (you don't say) - but if you select the engine module (this is "J623" in your picture of the repair manual) and then select basic settings and then enter "intake" into the search-box - you should see a procedure called intake manifold pressure calibration.
I'm not certain if there are preconditions for operating this basic setting process (maybe engine rpm - not sure) - so you will need to experiment

Hey DV. Thanks for the reply. Car is a U.S. MK7 GTI s (2015). I have a CXCA ea888 gen 3 engine. Unfortunately I don’t see anything for pressure calibration. I will try to post pics of what I see in the next post

hmmm............ not sure about your engine - but I suspect that this is simply a matter of correctly interpreting the descriptor in the Basic setting options.
Because the Engine Control Module (J623) uses the Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor (G336) signal to calculate a correction value for the charge air pressure (it does this by manipulating a series of connected flaps in the intake manifold ports), my hunch (guess really) is maybe try the "mixture" option in your screenshot-perhaps? Again a guess!!
