This is of course a safety feature and I understand why but in bad traffic its super annoying. There has got to be a way to do this no? I found a post on reddit about activating 2 things, but they are already activated by default and doesnt stop ACC from turning off. Any help is much appreciated! I actually asked this before but that was a while ago and there have been a ton of new stuff. @mvsullivan: Hi. hmmm.......... I'm not sure about the specifics of the 2 x long-code changes described in your link - but the tweak looks doable if you have the PRO version of OBD11 - do you have this? If the answer to my question above is yes - I need to understand which version ACC module is installed in this car and more particularly, how the individual software switches in the module's long-code string are currently set So, let's start the investigation by posting-up screenshots of the the ACC module.
You should be able to provide this by navigating to the Control Units screen (see below) -> then select the ACC module (it has the colored number 13) -> then scroll down and select info -> then select Long-coding.
To be clear, I need to see the part number and software numbers AND the complete (highlighted for emphasis) long-code string value - please Don
