Just wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to reset second Key FOB. I have KESSY. After not using the spare fob for a few years the battery is obviously dead. Now I have replaced the battery it is not working. The light flashes on the FOB when buttons are pressed so I know there is power in it. I have tried a few things that I’ve seen online but no joy.
When I take both keys into the car and press ignition button, the light flashes on both key fobs so there must be some communication going on there.
Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it or is a trip to the dealers?
Any advice appreciated.

This is not a common problem when changing the battery in the key fob - but it does happen sufficiently often for the fix to be included in the owner's manual
The key synchronizing instructions after battery replacement is like this:
It may no longer be possible to lock or unlock the vehicle with the remote control if the button is pressed repeatedly outside of the effective range of the vehicle key. If this is the case, the vehicle key should be re-synchronised as follows: - Fold out the key bit of the vehicle key .
- Remove the cover of the door handle in the driver door.
- Press and hold the button on the vehicle key. Remain standing close to the vehicle.
- Unlock the vehicle with the physical key inserted into the exterior driver door lock within one minute.
- The synchronisation process is complete.
- Refit the cover on the door handle

Hi Don, thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that I had read that in the handbook and tried it 3or4 times. I don’t see why it shouldn’t work, I will have a few more tries. Thankyou
