I am writing this post in hopes of finding a solution to an issue I am facing with my recently purchased OBDeleven Starter Ultimate Edition. I bought this device from Amazon to help resolve an error message on my 2017 AUDI Q7, specifically the "front left side marker light defective" issue.
According to information I found online, the OBDeleven device should be capable of deactivating the problematic marker light. However, I have not been successful in achieving this yet, and I'm seeking your help and guidance.
Upon receiving the OBDeleven device, I promptly followed the instructions that came with it. I opened the control unit and tried to write the long code, specifically looking at Byte Index 10, Hex 18, bit 3, and 4. Although there was no clear description of these options in the product manual, I found a YouTube tutorial (https://youtu.be/fRJ6TSy733o) indicating that these are the options that need to be deselected to deactivate the side marker light.
Unfortunately, even after deselecting these options and saving the changes – a step confirmed by a "save successful" message – the issue persists. Whenever I revisit Byte Index 10, Hex 18, bit 3 and 4, the options still appear selected.
At this point, I am uncertain if I'm missing a step or perhaps doing something incorrectly. To my dismay, I haven't found a comprehensive tutorial online that addresses this specific issue. Any help, advice, or guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

The issue I was facing has been successfully resolved. Surprisingly, the solution was simpler than I originally thought. It turns out, there's no need to delve into long coding or adjusting complex settings. The fix was located right in the OBDeleven app's main menu.
All I needed to do was to navigate to the app menu and find the option to "Close Side Marker Light." Once I selected this option, the issue was immediately resolved. I'm amazed at how user-friendly and straightforward the solution turned out to be!
