when i pull the switch to activate my foglights in Auto mode, the low beam turns on no matter if its bright out. is there a way to code this out so the fog light work independently and not override the Auto function?

post-up screenshots of Leuchte12NL LB45 and Leuchte6ABL LC5. To be clear, I need to see the values of ALL adaptation channels for each Leuchte-set in your pictures

OK - thanks for the screenshots. So this car has halogen low-beam lights and the fog-lights have incandescent lamps
If you want to turn-OFF the low-beam lights whenever the center turret on the rotary-light-switch is pulled-out to the front fog-light position, do this: Leuchte6ABL LC5 - Lichtfunktion C 6 > Nebellicht links
- Dimming Direction CD 6 > minimize
Leuchte7ABL RB1 - Lichtfunktion C 7 > Nebellicht rechts
- Dimming Direction CD 7 > minimize
Note: this tweak will apply whether the rotary-light-switch is in either the AUTO, or , or positions. It's not possible to have this tweak apply ONLY to the AUTO position AFAIK Don

Will the Auto light function work as normal and turn on the low beams when its dark out when the rotary-light-switch is pulled out?
My goal is to unlink the foglight switch from the lowbeams

Will the Auto light function work as normal and turn on the low beams when its dark out when the rotary-light-switch is pulled out? huh? I thought that you wanted the fog-light switch to stop the low-beams from turning-ON. My tweak will enable the low-beams to automatically turn-ON when it's dark and when the rotary light switch is in the AUTO position (this works as normal). So, if the rotary-light-switch is in AUTO position and:
- it's daytime and you turn-ON the front fog-lights - the low-beam lights will NOT turn-ON
- it's nighttime, the low-beam lights will switch-ON automatically as normal. If you subsequently turn-ON the front fog-lights, the low-beams will turn-OFF
Unfortunately it's an all-or-nothing solution - meaning that you can have the low-beam lights ALWAYS turned-ON with fog-lights OR with my tweak, you can have the low-beam lights ALWAYS turned-OFF with fog-lights!! It's entirely your choice'' (there ain't no middle ground) !!

ah damn thats disappointing
this is what i wanted:
if the rotary-light-switch is in AUTO position and:
it's daytime and you turn-ON the front fog-lights - the low-beam lights will NOT turn-ON
it's nighttime, the low-beam lights will switch-ON automatically as normal. If you subsequently turn-ON the front fog-lights, the low-beams will remain turned-ON

zeljkod : Yes, I had understood the difference between the output from my tweak and your wants before I published my last reply.
Unfortunately, there are 2 x insurmountable factors that stops your preferred solution from happening: - The rotary light switch has internal physical interlocks that ties together the operation of low-beam lights and the fog-lights
- Leuchte-programming is a very flexible facility - but it has its limitations
In respect of point 1 above - I guess you could try opening the rotary-light-switch housing and breaking the interconnects. Personally, I never done this so I can offer no advice - other than to take great care and have 2nd rotary-light-switch at hand (because in all likelihood, you will need it)!!
In respect of point 2 above - I've been playing with Leuchte-programming for many years and I fool myself into believing that I'm familiar with the family of leuchte-commands that is available for use. AFAIK, there is NO Leuchte-command that can enforce the type of conditionality required for your preferred solution (alas). Leuchte programming simply ain't that sophisticated!!
Of course, I am more than happy if another, more knowledgeable forum member can provide better advice

oh so its physically in the rotary switch which connects the low beams to the fog lights, i did not know that. Thought maybe it was codded and could be removed.
Makes alot more sense now. Thanks for your help anyways!!
