Hi,
has somebody retrofitted Park assist to Golf 8, 2021, DSG? I plan to upgrade from 8K PDC to 12K PLA in the following days. I found coding instructions for all modules except for the Engine and ABS control units. The bytes and bits for these units are not described in OBDEleven so I have no idea what changes I have to make in these modules to activate the park assist. Messing with the ABS module without knowing what I change seems like a very dangerous thing to do. Can anybody help?

- Retrofited 4 additional park sensors, 5wa919297B in front and 5wa919275B in the back. PLA module is 5wa919298 with sw B, pulled from a MK8 with PLA from factory...
- Coded units 09, 13, 17, 19, 44, 5F, 75, 76, A5
- Managed to get OPS360 working, but Park assist button in the infotainment doesn't do anything yet.
- PLA module has errors: Databus Missing message and (Sub)function cannot be performed, while the other modules are mostly error free.

Can somebody help? I think I am very close to get the thing working, but I miss a small step...

There actually isn't any coding required in those modules. Only the 19 Gateway, 44 Steering assistance adaptations/coding, 5F Multimedia adaptations, 17 Dashboard coding (if I remember correctly when I did mine), and I thing that was it besides the module itself needing datasets and coding.

Thank you for the hint, mintfotog. Actually was enabled by default for the park assist, but you helped me resolve 2 stubborn DTCs (which did not have a code and were labeled unknown) from the ABS module, which I had after retrofitting Travel and Emergency assist... Had to enable Delay management for EA

I saw the option only yesterday after checking delay management for the park module.

brkica, Hello, have you managed to get the Park assist button to work in the dashboard?
If so can you tell me how you did it, I am currently stuck I have coded all the gateways that were missing apart from the engine. Thanks for your help
