Hey guys, first time poster. Got a 40th aniversary GTI 6 speed manual. Ive been trying to do the wireless carplay tweak and cant seem to get past the check ignition and try again. I have opened the hood and the ignition is on (engine off) and havent been able to get the thing to work. Am I just dumb and doing something out of order or missing a step?

Did you figure it out? Have GTI 40th too, can't get this wireless carplay app to work.

I just tried again since I saw a new update for the ios app. No luck still either check ignition or sfd.

Was working with support and apparently this will only work if your car has wifi. Totally would have been cool if they put that in the description so I wouldnt have had wasted money on credits/time spent trying to figure it out.

Was working with support and apparently this will only work if your car has wifi. Totally would have been cool if they put that in the description so I wouldnt have had wasted money on credits/time spent trying to figure it out. Credits aren’t wasted, just ask support to refund them |
