Hello,
I want to disable the travel assist on my golf 8. Is it possible with obdeleven ?
The notification "travel assist not available" keeps coming on and it is really annoying

It is a known issue on these cars, you should have the dealership fix it for you by ordering a new steering wheel.

Thanks, I know but my warranty is alteady expired.
I have the golf 8 r , so a new steering wheel will cost a lot of money.
I think we can disable it with obdeleven, but i’m not sure.

I'd still try warranty its a very known issue wether it's in warranty or not

Anyone tested solution?
Ive already spoken to my dealer. New steering wheel will eventually arrive in 5-6 months. Till then i want to disable travel assist.
