I am a complete noob to Audi and just bought my 2022 Audi S3 with the "basic virtual cockpit" not the more feature enhanced "virtual cockpit". My question is can this display be coded to show some of the features of the enhanced V.C.? Can it be coded to at least change the plain and IMO dreary looking gauges to something different more sporty? My car does not have navigation license enabled; if i were to purchase the navigation from AUDI would it display navigation in the basic V.C.? Would google earth be displayed on the basic virtual cockpit?
ANY INFO I CAN RECEIVE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED GUYS. Thanks.

I have the basic virtual cockpit. I do have navigation on VC with google maps. Have to say I never use the google maps images, to much is happening in front of me.
So far I know you are not able to change this VC to an r/rs style. There for you need the bigger one
There is a one click app just added that changes the VC. Have not tried it

Thanks 1st bit of information in regards to the google maps on the basic V.C. The standard layout is so plain and doesn't change at all with the different drive modes. Needs something more to keep it interesting in my opinion.

Hi, I have a 2023 S3 without the navigation package and I was able to activate it with the MyAudi app, it cost 60$ Canadian Dollars for a month. I don't really need it cause I use Android Auto but I just wanted to check it out. Another thing that I noticed is that since I don't have the Virtual Cockpit Plus, I only have the classic cockpit view but when I activated the navigation, I got the sport cockpit view as well, I was hoping to get the S Performance view but I guess that you can just have it with the Virtual Cockpit plus.

Hi Doumdoum, can you please post a picture? I’m super interested getting a different look on my basic digital instrument cluster.
