Thanks, I’ll check them when I get to the car.
I know there are options on the interior light, parameter. I did set them from there too, but they stay at 10% as they are set on “p helligkeit fzg geschlossen zuendung ein fussraum”, of course, with the doors closed, with any of them open, they goes to 100%, wich is normal. Problem is the setting from HMI.

Ok try clearing the app data on the tablet, (it’s not in the app, got to settings on the tablet, then apps, then manage apps, then OBDeleven, then clear data) you will have to sign back in to obdeleven

So I was having a little play earlier, and noticed this  Mine says off there, same as the other picture posted on here by freeway and cioce, and Russian is a two letter word, this got me thinking If it’s not off then it’s something else, so I went looking at videos, and found one where if you press the button it give you the options of “off”, “automatic” and “manual” Off turns it off Manual give you the screen we have Automatic gives you colour change via profile So I had a play in the car found that if you changed farbwahl ueber HMI to installed and ambient farbliste HMI to not active and reset the mmi then the colour menu changes from the slider across the bottom to a drop down menu (colours in words like warm white, blue and red) but these do not work the infotainment lines or AID lines, So cleared that and tried farbwahl ueber fahrprofil which means Color selection via driving profile But it kills the background lighting screen So it’s either not that, my central electronics module is too old or it’s SWaP So if someone with a newer car (mines a April 2017) wouldn’t mind trying it to see if works that would be nice to eliminate |

Mine is 2019, but is composition media and normal cluster, sorry!
Later edit: finally my brightness adjustment work, i changed some settings from leuchte and int. light parameter, thanks vwjap

The aerton seems to have more options to do with the ambient lighting and profil

Also want to thank vwjap, I just did the changes and works perfectly. I was always wondering how to get the seperate sliders back after you do the 10 colour app change. Plus did background colour match too  Thanks so much. |

Well it’s only software and doesn’t physically check to see if you have the lights like the outside lights, so if you put active to Footwell lights it will put it on the screen,
That’s ok I thought you liked green like I do ha ha

What nav have you got, pro it should always be there, media I think you have to tell it to display in the cockpit on the settings because you can only have one or the other, if you haven’t got nav then you can’t display at all

It's done like this - see below. Regardless of whether a siren is installed, or not, the same adaptation channels need to be changed - the only difference in the instructions is the last channel below - which changes depending on whether you want to use a siren (which I call "alarm horn"), or the car's horn to sound the acknowledgement signal. And ASAIK, the same instruction-set works for both mk7 and mk7.5.
