Hey all, Recently purchased a 2011 Audi TT. Only came with one key,Works locks and ignition but not with Remote. I have tried all of the key programming videos I could find on here and YouTube. It is my understanding on the 2011 keyless entry is controlled by body control module located under the steering wheel. I have taken that out and cleaned contacts/checked pins. I have checked wire harness between driver door and body (Found one broke brown wire, and soldered it back together) When I scan and get to comfort system control unit (46) it shows that everything is ok but won't let me in. I keep getting unable to connect messages. I have tried clearing App cache and BT cache but still have same issue.

Below is the same reply I gave to itsmejoey... I also lost the "connection" after replacing the key battery. Based on all my research, this seems to be a common problem.. :-(
There are a few different processes to have the car "relearn" the Key... Some of them require (2) keys, with the good key in the ignition, etc... I tried everything, without success. This can't be done with OBDII, as it requires a trip to the dealer. I'm in NorCAL and the local dealer wanted $380 and a "few hours" to reprogram my key, as I only had one. I decided to find an alternative and called a number of locksmiths, but most can't link the Audi Keys. However, my local service garage suggested Hero-Locksmith. They came to my house and reprogrammed my old key (in less than 30 min) and cut a new key for $390. Had I used the dealer, I'm guessing the additional key would have been more than another $500...
