Hi, I have a 2014 Tiguan R-Line and despite lots of searching and trying different things, I just can’t seem to get the auto-mirrors fold by long press on the keyfob lock button to work.
Just to confirm a few details:
-The mirrors do have the electric folding function because they do fold when the mirror knob on the drivers door is manually turned to the fold-in position
-The auto passenger side mirror dip on reverse function does work as it should when the mirror knob on the drivers door is turned to the passenger side mirror position
-The auto window close function when the keyfob lock button is held does work as it should and closes any open windows for as long as the button is kept pressed
-I have used credits to purchase the auto-folding mirrors app on ODB Eleven and gone through the process to instal on the car, it confirms that it has installed successfully, but just doesn’t work when I try it
-I have also been into long coding for the drivers and passenger side modules 42 and 52 and made sure that everything in there is the way it should be (going off what I have read) but still no joy
-Everything else I have tried seems to have worked ok (needle sweep, reverse cam activation etc.) but the mirrors just refuse to fold in via long press of the keyfob lock button!
