I traded my 2019 A6 for a 2023 S6 earlier this year and I'm unable to remove the MMI menu blocks while driving. So far I've tried the following steps on the 5F ecu, with no success:

1. Changed all the nhtsa adaptations to Not activated
2. Changed all the blocked menu adaptations to non-blocked
3. For items with menu display Activated, Changed the menu display over threshold high adaptations from Not activated to Activated
4. Enabled VIM with the OBD Eleven App (this does work for video, but menus are still blocked)

After none of those steps worked, I used VCP System VIM Manager to change all the cut-off thresholds to 255.
Video cut-off threshold

Broadcast-Website (Browser) cut-off threshold

Destination input cut-off threshold

BT-bonding cut-off threshold

Messaging Text Editor cut-off threshold

Radiotext / Tooltip cut-off threshold

I tried steps 1-4 on my wife's new 2024 etron Q8 with the same results.

So it appears VW/Audi has changed something with menu blocks with the latest version of the MMI.

I just tried it on my 2023 A6 Allroad and got a "function not allowed" or similar (can't remember exactly) after I had changed all the blocked ones to non-blocked.

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT
