Hi,
I am interested in coding the indicators so they make the pace car effect but only with hazard on, I've found how to do it for the back led lights but not for the front and mirrors where the lights first turn on in the head light and after that in the mirrors can anyone help?
It's on a mk7 2015

aldin28 : Hi
Not sure which method you used to implement this tweak on the tail-lights (maybe my instructions on VWWatercooled), but here's the thing about the turn-signal lamps on the mirrors on a MY15 Golf mk7 (they are called "repeater" lamps) - they aren't controlled by the central electrics module.
So, they don't use Leuchte-sets - instead, they are directly controlled by the door modules using CAN based messages from the steering wheel module. This means that you can't change the operation of the repeater lamp.

For the tail lights I found this and it works pace car turns on only with hazard, there is an app for front pace car tweak but they are always on, not only with hazard, is it possible to tweak the so they work only with hazard on like the tail lights?
Rear Turn Signal lamps: Pace Car operation with Hazard warning lights (LED tails)- Instructions
Select 09 - Central Electr control module Select Security Access - 16 from the "Open Controller" screen Enter the magic number 31347 and return to the "Open Controller" screen Select Adaptation - 10 from the "Open Controller" screen From the pull-down button check that the default settings for the adaptation channels shown in the table below are as indcated in the Existing Setting column Change the adaptation channels depicted in the table below to the values in the New Setting column (tip: use the "Search" box to locate the channels)
Notes:
The table above provides a second option: Acknowledgement with Central Locking - change these settings if you want the "Pace-Car" effect with Lock/Unlock If the 3rd Brake light does not operate as per the video and you want this to happen, refer to my previous instructions HERE . Take care in the selection of channels and the settings (particularly when picking the correct "rechts/links" Leuchte commands) - please.............and double-check that the changes are correct before you press the Doit! tab If problems are encountered, remember the AdpLog.CSV file that resides in the Ross-Tech directory on the laptop that you used to make changes -this file will be your best friend if the tweak goes "pear shape"!!! I make no judgement, or statement regarding the compliance of this tweak with the Australian Design Rules. Those intending to implement these instructions should satisfy themselves in this regard - prior to proceeding.

aldin28 : The material that you "found" for the pace-car tweak was originally authored by a slightly weird and grossly over-rated individual that occasionally visits this forum - see HERE
As I indicated way back in 2016 when I wrote the post on VWWatercooled, this tweak will ONLY work if the selected lamps use Leuchte-programming.
This means that the selected lamps MUST (capital letters used for emphasis) be controlled by the central electrics module and the wire from each lamp MUST be connected to a pin on the hex09 module.
On a mk7, the front turn-signals are connected to the central electrics module - so it should be possible to replicate the tweak on these lamps by using the same changes -but applied to Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36 and Leuchte1BLK VRB20
However, and as I have already indicated - the repeater (turn-signal) lamps on the side mirrors are NOT controlled by the hex09 module - so not possible!!
