There is more info required.
A) There will be three wires on the switch up,down, and a common. If the switch has marks , look fof C common. IF the swich IS totally working but reversed then just swap the other two.
B)if the switch works but in only one direction the C common is incorrectly connected and one of the other wires is also wrong. Which ever direction is NOT funcioning is likely CORRECT.
