If the headlight is in on position then headlight washers pop up and use a lot of liquid washer every time i wash the front window. Please help me disable this useless feature that is probably called "headlight washer system".
PS: i am new user of OBDeleven , and OBD11 seems to not have an app for my problem! One of the main reasons i bought obd11 was to fix this problem. My car seems to be too old ?!? Any help wanted!

I read in internet that fuse 23 in your car is the fuse for headlight washer. Just remove it. I did the same on my touran 2011 because i hate the headlightwasher. My car is never really dirty and when i use the windscreen washer the headlightwasher also pops out and my car was from the front to the back full with water.

Interesting idea about the fuse 23, thanks for reply!!! until now i tried going to central electrics(09) --> coding but i have no text there ,there was no "Scheinwerferreinigungsanlage" to disable Central electrics Wischer AU350 H01 - current coding is 0062736 and in Central electrics long coding - 018E4F129014100000160000160000000000FE0F5C Attachments:

In adaptation , there are only 4 channels that work(out of 255). These are channel 3,4,6,7 (photos atached) Attachments:

Managed to do it,
in Central electrics long coding - 018E4F129014100000160000160000000000FE0F5C
in the above post it says: "byte 01 bit 1 = headlight cleaning system installed / uninstalled"
in our case byte 01 is 8E , and we unchecked the bit 01 This transformed byte 01 "8E" to "8C"
Headlight washers disabled ... yay!

HI ghirbo, glad it worked out for you. I'm in a reverse situation. I'm in a process of retrofitting bi-xenon headlights and the headlight washers are a requirement in my country. I installed all the hardware but stuck on coding. I have a 2012 (2013 model year) A3 8PA with BCM (not CECM) and I cannot find any information on a correct byte and bit in central electrics module (09) that I should activate to make the headlight washers work. If I understand your last post correct, the headlight washer system can be activated by checking the byte 1 bit 1. BUT, and this is important, the coding for pre-2010 A3 with CECM is different from after-2010 A3 with BCM. What car du you have? Is it with CECM (->>2010) or with BCM (2010->>)? Thanks
