iOS: (RED LED on connect, White when idle, and glowing White when working)
Opened the hood, plugged in the module and started the ignition
General setup asks to create a pin, type in VIN (WAUZZZF26KN097007) then asks to select either A6 or A7 (A6) then model year (2018-) then type (A6) then shape (Avant)
All done, app shows "Reading Control Modules" then shows the button to "Scan"
No mileage shown only the battery voltage
Heading to apps -> all showing "Not Supported"
Tried manual coding -> Modules -> Module 5F -> "Module not connecting, try again with ignition"
Android: (RED LED on connect, White when idle, and glowing White when working)
Opened the hood, plugged in the module and started the ignition
Connects asks for the module -> OBDEleven2 -> Could not connect, Try again with ignition -> Cant connect, manually input car -> SCAN option
then the exact same results...
Why is it being like this with my vehicle? Just trying to code in some features and it's just being awful... It's not the car since I had a tech come and check it all out and see all module information which was fine. Am I doing something wrong? Is the module faulty? It doesn't seem like it since it gets power, shows its working... I've done a combination of starting the car, opening the hood and connecting the module and originally followed the guide that came with the module which was plug in first then start the car, done both in accessory and ignition no results...
I disconnected my phone from the vehicle and vice versa to ensure it doesn't lose connection anywhere and remained on mobile data and wifi connected to my house (my drive is next to the router and I get a really good signal)
Vehicle information:
Audi A6 Avant Sline 45 TFSI Quattro (XX19 XXX) UK plate
Is my car some off brand rebuilt or something
