Hi I have a Volkswagen passat wolfsburg edition 2017 B8, I have activated road sign recognition and it works With restriction mode not sure why!! I have noticed now that on my navigation system the GPS map the road speed is Is relied on the camera road recognition sign And I would prefer to have them both separately so is it possible to have the is it possible to have them both separately the map Receiving only from GPS Navigation system.

Question whi do i have Restriction mode activated?
it it possible to have them separeted camera and map ?

Restricted only comes up when the Navigation does not send any predictive road data to the camera.
You should check the PSD bit in the infotainment.
You can surely seperate them with some effort, disabling fusion in the camera and disabling the traffic sign bus integration in the infotainment, but the system works only reliable with both data fusioning from both sources.

Thank you For your response, Not sure what's happening with the activation of the activation of road sign on the camera but The problem with the recognition camera it changes only if will see a sign and Doesn't change if the speed limit changes Like the map that recognises
I will ask you another question is it possible to have the speed limit on the map Reflected on the dashboard map?

Nope. Not possible. Dash always shows the cameras data, which should be the fusion of both sources in end user vehicles
Of course the system does not work properly with wrong codings, as it is designed to work with camera and map data.
Please check your coding in 5F.

Thank you, probably I did install it not correctly the problem was that it did recognize the sign for example 50, but when I changed streets and enter 60 street it will not change until he sees I sign and then changes giving not real-time update recognition is this correct?? does the camera work like this??
it's different on the GPS, it will change immediately when you enter any street giving a correct update of the speed of the street.
Any information you can give me on how the camera works is welcome
