Hi all
tag says it all... I'm glad there s a specific forum for VW and even model of Polo!
Everyone here will have a lot more experience than me using this OBD system... initially I bought this scanner to tell me more before dropping the car into VW under warranty (unfortunately I don't trust them to be objective/truthful - they warned me of a charge of £150 p/h if not warranty issue and this scanner seems worthwhile at that price).. Hence getting more information prior.
This AW Polo Car is Revving constantly on Idle (1400 rpm) my old scanner say TAC Throttle activator vale is at 4.7% (a friends Polo is at 2% at 950 rpm and rises to 4.7% when he revs it. Seems the valve is not closing down properly. However before I get it seen I want to make sure they are not going to say the revving is associated with a GPF regen. I'm told the OBD11 will tell me the state of the GP filter?
I have no dashboard light to say the GPF needs regenerating, there is no high temp smell or high fuel consumption and have taken the car on a long motorway trip as I usually do and this is the first time the high idle has happened.
Any information priot ot taking this car in is going to be helpful. Thanks

The information you are looking for is in live data.
Basic plan allows you to see live data
Go to control unit 01 engine Then in the menu select Live Data Then in the search bar type Particulate filter
hopefully that gives you what you need

This worked great after trying a few goes at it
Thanks
I found my particulate filter at 0.8%.. so pleased about that.. A good runout yesterday on a day break, on a motorway, obviously worked well for my Polo's GPF.
