Well, after reading a couple of topics with no or few reactions regarding the fault codes I decided to create my own.
Quite some time ago i retrofitted Hella rear lights on my MK6 golf. Only the inner ones worked so I had to code them in. Thus, i coded the byte (18 I believe) to RoW and they all started working as they should, eliminating all the fault codes except the one for the fog light. This one still remained and stared at me for a long time in the dashboard.
I’ve been doing some research back and forth and seen that these can be either coded out (by changing the resistance value in adaptations) or just wrap a resistor around its adapter and you should be fine.
However I’ve nowhere found a thread with the advice/instructions on how to do so.
Does anyone know how this is done and could tell me what channels/parameters to change?
Thanks in advance!

Best to use VCP in this situation, it has a good BCM Light editor. The same could be done with the eeprom editor in OBD11 though it would be more technical to work with

Are there any instructions you can send me that you know of to do this with OBD11? Buying VCP would be unnecessary imo as I already bought OBD11.
