Hello all, I'm new here and cant find a valid answer on coding a new battery for a 2007 a4 b7 .... some say its necessary as does my audi dealer. Some say it's not necessary. Please define necessary..
Is it possible to code a b7s battery? Or is everyone just saying dont bother it'll probably work.

My belief is that it is necessary as the car's systems will adjust the charge to the battery according to age and probably some other factors.
If you don't code it then it will still work but it wont be being charged correctly so may not last as long as it should
