In the process of replacing my low to high RVC I coded my 6C according to the Mr-Fix research
see the description under his
youtube turorial like below
In one of your other posts about
parametrisation of 6C is saw you providing a backup of your data:
Since mine is nagging on that point I might use some of that info (which can be altered with VCP)
Regarding your
Wheel/tire description: 1950 mm parameter can you tell me your tire size? This parameter is also used in10 (or 76) which in my case reads 1970mm with factory equipped 225/40 R18 Tires (PR H7D)Aperently there is a misterious reason for this value to differ from the circumfence stored in 6C (1950mm) AND the tyre size calculator result of 2001mm
MR-FIX coding of 6C 💻 Add new module to gateway installation list
19 → adaptation → Installation list → specified installations - Camera System Rear View → coded
💻 Disable RVC-LOW and enable RVC-HIGH in MIB module
5F → Long Coding → Byte: 19 → Bit: 4 → disable
5F → adaptation → Car Function List BAP Gen2 → VPS_0x0B → activated
a) 5F → adaptation → Car Function List BAP Gen2 → VPS_0x0B_msg_bus → Comfort data bus
(according to Mr-Fix; this is the setting I currently use) b) 5F → adaptation → Car Function List BAP Gen2 → VPS_0x0B_msg_bus → terminal 15
(according to the guy who sold me the 6C kit) 💻 Enable camera support in parktronic module
Some cars will have module 0x76 available instead of 0x10.
76 or 10 → Long Coding → Byte: 02 → Bit: 4 → enable
76 or 10 → Long Coding → Byte: 02 → Bit: 5 → disable
DISCONNECT OBD11 AND RECONNECT
💻 Enable camera BAP communication
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 10 → Bit 6 BAP for display data
💻 Code vehicle and region
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 00 → vehicle brand VW
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 01 → vehicle class and generation 3 (for a golf mk7.5)
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 02 → vehicle body type 3 (for a golf mk7.5)
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 03 → region eur
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 0X → Derivate Supplement 0

💻 Additional light when using camera
This will turn on welcome lights fitted under side mirrors to improve visibility. This feature was designed to 360 Area View (4 camera system), but you can use it with RVC High as well.
6C → Long Coding → Byte: 08 → Bit: 2 → enable (manoeuvre light)
