Hi everybody,
After removing the grill with the badge and disconnecting MRR in my Golf 7 FL 2018 I received an error ACC Not Available. However, I can reach it with OBDeleven, read some data, status, etc. When I turn ACC On/OFF from the steering wheel I see in obdeleven that ACC status is changing from ACC_Off_MainSwitch_Off to ACC_reversible_error. Is there something I can do to fix this issue, perhaps change some setting to activate it again? Thanks in advance.

bitochek : If you have physically removed the front facing radar and unplugged the connector from the rest of the car's wiring loom, the module inside the MRR has lost its initialization values. These basic settings establish the primary calibration values for the radar and they are different for each individual vehicle. The descriptors on the fault entries for the MRR module should confirm the exact nature of the errors. I suggest that you examine the SCAN report.
Look specifically for the faults on the module that lives @ address hex A5 (this is the CAN address for the MRR). In OBD11 speak, this module is identified in the SCAN as:

Removing it will not erase the calibration data, but will likely invalidate them, as the whole part will be installed slightly different.
There should be a misaligned error in 13. A5 is the camera, which will only show follow-up errors.
You can either start dynamic calibration (in case that works with OBD11) and do a calibration drive or just try your luck and have a test drive. Straight roads, following traffic at a steady pace between 20 and 50km/h, some turns and you should be good.

newty you are right, I have two identical faults C110300. And it seems there is no dynamic calibration in OBDeleven(iOS), there is Calibration of ACC but only Static method. I tried to drive hoping that it would self calibrate(about 850km but with the speed ~100), but no luck. Following your comment here forum.obdeleven.com/post/48976 In live data I have "misalignment angle, horiz -2,229" and "misalignment angle, horiz, fast algorithm - 1.816", sounds like huge misalignment. Is there any allowable level of misalignment? I followed the video below and checkd MRR visually and it seems it sits in place, but I don't have at the moment such a digital level. Also, I found that VM badge has a small chip on the face side.

Hello, what a coincidence that this is the exact problem i’m having as well..
Took off my grill, to replace the “R” badge on the grill, without unplugging the radar, but misaligned one of the grill clip, and the grill went in slightly wonky without me knowing.
Drove around 20-30km and got this ! Error and front assist not available… Now i’ve clipped in back the grill perfectly but the error still appear in the dashboard, can someone help please?
What is dynamic calibration? Where can it be found/how to use it?
Really reluctant and feel extremely stupid to send this to a shop simply because i mis-installed slightly the grill and drove around with it…

Hi, In the exact same situation Did you end up finding a solution? Hate how the error is presistent on dash and won't clear. Trying to steer away from bringing it to dealer to do re-calibration.
