Hi all - I recently purchased a shiny new MY23 (build Jun 22) Australian model Kodiaq RS. Unfortunately it comes with the dreaded soundaktor 'on by default' every time I start the engine. Yes I can set the drive mode every time...but would rather try and turn it off permanently!
I purchased an OBDEleven Pro, and it connects to the car and seems to work well with my iphone. I tried the 'Soundaktor' one-click app, and it shows 'Not supported'. I then tried the C0 'Exterior Noise' -> 'Engine noise generation actuator volume' adaptation. It has a slider to reduce the actuator volume to 0%, but when I do the 'slide to write' thing, it just hangs at the 'Writing' screen, and nothing seems to happen.
I'm aware of the various additional security issues on post-2020 VAG cars. Just wondering if there's any way to get past that on the latest models? Thanks in advance.

If its the fake sound that many cars have you should have a control unit A9 Structure Borne Sound, From memory this one is not protected by SFD.
If its in another control unit have you enabled SFD on your account and did you have the bonnet open otherwise it wont work

Thank you!! That did the trick - needed to have the bonnet open. Worked perfectly, the soundaktor is quiet and I can hear the radio again :-) Thanks again.

I own a Kodiaq Sportline (Mar 2020 built). Both the A9 and C0 modules are unresponsive (circle blacked out). The open bonnet didn't do the trick though. Any suggestion?
