Would like to raise and lower the windows with the remote on my MkV GTI built October 2005. There is no OBD Eleven app for this. A step by step how-to would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dosen't a LONG press on the lock/unlock buttons already do this? It does on my 1T touran. I have since coded it to action an automatic close without the buttons needing to be long pressed.
Check out the coding options on another VW OBD site for the answer

I have a 2008 GTI and am looking for the same help. I found some info on another site but it wasn't with the OBD eleven interface and I don't want to mess anything up..lol. Hopefully someone will provide a step by step guide.

Hi Feetishes
Thanks for posting the screenshots --but i've got a question. As I see your screen shots essentially you changed Byte 07 from value 1B to 3F, and Byte 08 was changed to? or(from?)value 09. Could you clarify what value Byte 08 should be?
Thanks

Thanks You don't have to put exactly the same hex on your car because could be different, why don't you simply just check the bits to have the correct value for your car?
