Hi, tried to activate a few apps where none work on my USA 2023 8Y S3. Tried to activate video in motion MIB3 (yes, I left the hood/bonnet open and ignition on, engine off before writing), seat belt warning disable, torque and power display, none of them work, even though the Android app indicated that it was successful.
I am using an older OBDeleven dongle from 2017 that I successfully used multiple times on my MK7 Golf GTI, and the comparison table indicated this device can do SFD. It asked me for a 2FA which I set up and authenticated, so that wasn't it.
Did I miss something painfully obvious that's causing the coding not to take? Will the maker offer credit refunds so I can try again? Apparently I am grandfathered into PRO lifetime with this dongle, so I could long code if needed. I just figured I'd burn those credits since I had plenty left.
