Hi, I rarely use my obd11 pro plan dongle. Had to install a battery on my 2017 Jetta GLI. This does not work.
Got the pro dongle from DAP last September. Darn thing has never worked well.
I have contact V, but no joy.
Any suggestions?

When you say don't work is this a one click app or manual coding. If manual won't save or can't see what you are expecting.
IOS or android phone

There is no one click app for adapting a new battery, at least none for a mk 6 Jetta GLI. So I go to 19 and then go to long adaption, and the app gives me a dialog to put in a code between 1-255. This dialog won’t disappear. I do a hard restart of the app on iOS. I did it so many times, my newly installed battery became fully discharged.
When asked on chat, Lukas said “search the internet for a solution “ and would not even tell me which code to use. He suggested going through each code one by one (255 times) to find the battery code.
Now I have a dead battery, and obd11 next gen pro plan which cannot code a battery.

Just double check you don't have control unit 61. If you don't then you want channel 004 format is Amps,Space,Manufacturer just leave it the same if you dong know the new one,Space and the Serial Number just add one to what was there before.

When I go to 4, it’s empty. I will check if there is a 61. Thanks!
