Hi just got an obd new gen, created a backup and now sunroof does not work, I see many people had same issue but can someone pleas explain how to get it fixed, I have an A4 b9 saloon 2017 in the UK, sunroof only opens half way and tilts but only works when button is held down. Faults codes are No basic setting B154354 Status static No vehicle coded B169400 Status static
I have checked my backup for long code but shows as 708000000000 which I don’t believe is correct since there should be a vehicle code at the end of that not, not all 0s.
Another post mentioned their code went from 208000049100 to all zeros so possible my original long code was 708000049100? Please let me know what I need to do as this is my first attempt at fixing with coding so of course need to be correct

I would recommend that you contact support via in app help function because I have seen this issue before but personally not on your motor so its possible the answer/long coding is different but found this tread also forum.obdeleven.com/post/71256 that seems to confirm what i put below.
Last time i saw this issue the response from the support team was
Hello, thank you for your message. Sorry to hear that you are having issues. We are aware of this issue, we managed to replicate and investigate the issue, and it seems that the problem is with the vehicle itself. More likely with the software version of the control unit. The issue also persists with other diagnostic tools such as VCDS or even ODIS. Here is what you need to do to fix the issue: Follow the link below: FULL BACKUPYou will find at the end of this FAQ how to restore the long coding original value. The original coding you should put in the control unit sunroof is 608000049202 (here we just type the original long coding from the user sunroof control unit) Once you will insert this code, save it, leave your car and lock it. Go a bit further from your vehicle, with the key with you, until your vehicle's headlights will turn off. Once that happens, return to your vehicle. Press and hold down your sunroof button, until the sunroof will completely open and close. Connect the OBDeleven to your vehicle -> open the control unit Sunroof (CA) -> basic settings -> and run basic setting “Roof roller blind, calibration”. After these steps, it should work as before. Let me know how it goes.

I have contacted them but they seem to take 20 hours between replies. I have given them my VIN so we’ll see what the come back with. Problem is I only bought this device for 1 click apps, in order for me to long code I need a paid account for about £50 which I don’t see why I should pay for when it’s an issue they caused and they even knew about but still don’t even give a warning. Still waiting on a reply

Well that sucks, just remind them this is a know issue on the forums and facebook so they should have warned you and therefore they need to build a FREE ONE CLICK APP that puts the problem right as its nothing you have done.
