This feature is available on my sisters 23 Jetta but not for the arteon, this is basically the same infotainment why can’t we just get it ported over.

It is available I've done it on my Arteon. All menu's work while driving. It's a simple process to get done. You're going to need pro as it requires long coding, when I find the instructions again I'll post.

Sorry this took so long. But these are the steps! *You need to be able to long code* FYI. Requires at least a Pro account.
Control Units > Module 5F / Multimedia > Adaptations > Then proceed to change every item on the list to "Non Blocked"
Write changes and then it should work!
Every menu in my car works while driving. Whether its settings, the custom drive mode settings like DCC etc & typing into maps while on the move.

Also, if you have any trouble with Carplay / Android Auto then make these following changes too.
Module 5F / Multimedia > Nhtsa properties > Proceed to change every item to "Not Activated" and leave "Limitation dependancy" on "Speed threshold"

I am not having any luck with disabling the menu lock.
2023 SEL Premium here.
I have gone to 5F/Multimedia > Adaptions > and then lockout menu items and changed every single on to "not activated"
My hood was open while doing this, and it says it was successful but when I close the hood power off and start the car I immediately get kicked out of the settings menu when I start to drive.
I can go back into the adaptions and all the settings have stayed "not activated" as well.
What am I doing wrong?

I think my car needed some time to think about it, it appears to be working this morning even though it was not when I shut it down last night.
