Anyone else having issues getting your Throttle body adaptation to work? I just get a clicking noise followed with an error. Just wondering if it is just me.

I guess I'll reply to myself...I have done some research and it appears some other people are having this issue. Seems it might be software related... so the only thing we can do is wait for the guys at OBDEleven to work out the bugs and update. If anyone else out there has any input... please reply

I just experienced the same issue. Throttle body just clicks and I receive an error. Car is now running, feels like is has good power. But, it will not adapt.

Have you tried this again with the recent 2018 update?

What are you all doing to get that far? I go into engine and basic settings, enter 060 and I get this screen.

Can you please post a complete SCAN of your car? I'd like to know which engine module you have installed?

1.9 L? I assume it means you have a diesel. If this is the case, then the instructions (and the one-click APP) is for petrol engines. On Ross-Tech's page, I don't see a throttle body adaptation. I only see the kickdown as documented here: wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/1.9l_PD-TDI_(BRM)

I was having problems adapting my throttle body also on my mk4 Jetta. There are a 4 or 5 conditions that need to be met for it to work according to a vag com website. One of those conditions is that the throttle body must be clean. The value 4 would keep popping up "error" and my throttle body was very dirty inside. I replaced the throttle body and it adapted fine on the first try. The value 4 read "success". I hope that helps some! Godbless!

Why didn't you just manually clean your throttle body, and save some money? Disconnect your old throttle body with the ignition ON in the wide-open-throttle position. Carb cleaner would get rid of the gunk.
