I had a courtesy car today, and while driving with ACC on, it suddenly automatically adjusted the speed from the Road Sign information. That's amazing!
Can this be activated in the Golf?
I already have 'Ready2Discover' and Purchased 'Road Sign Detection' from the shop.

Did you also purchase navigation? If not, there might be the information missing on the databus. European cars with R2D and purchased navigation and tsr (navigation is mandatory for tsr in EUR as far as I was informed).
First check if these feature are already avaliable in the assist view in adaptive cruise control
If not you might want to give a try this in the 13 ACC: Enable in Coding: Speed_limit_assistent (3/6) Curve_assistent (3/5)
Enable Adaption: Predictive speed limit regulation (do not use according to quality scale. This is only used for hybrid cars)

Thanks newty, I'll give it a shot.
I dont have Navigation activated (purchased), but since TSR is bound by Navigation data aswell as the camera input, I was thinking that the database is probably somehow accessible behind the scenes - meaning that Predictive ACC could be enabled.
Everything but 'Predictive speed limit regulation' was already activated.

Hi philld , What do you mean by the above coding? Have you enabled the below flags, also? pACC_Reaction_to_end_of_traffic_jam
pACC_Regulation_on_priority
Thank you

pACC is not default and not needed (and relates to Car2X and therefore the OCU and the Wlan-P Antennas Software and Configuration) These are the only pACC Relevant Codings in 13, took from fresh car: [LO]_Curve_assistent: [VN]_activated [LO]_Speed_limit_assistent: [VN]_activated [LO]_Travel_Assist: [VN]_activated [LO]_pACC_Regulation_on_priority: [VN]_deactivated [LO]_pACC_Reaction_to_end_of_traffic_jam: [VN]_deactivated [LO]_Curve_assistent_CarMenu: [VN]_deactivated [LO]_Speed_limit_assistent_CarMenu: [VN]_deactivated
You can also check if SWaP-Fec 10009101 is enabled in the Gateway or ACC just to make sure.

Hi! I know this is an old post, but I am desperately trying to switch this gubbins off in my ID3, I am very new to this so don't quite understand the jargon and technical stuff, but if I switch off the below using adaptations will it disable the auto speed limit changes?
[LO]_Curve_assistent: [VN]_activated
[LO]_Speed_limit_assistent: [VN]_activated
[LO]_Travel_Assist: [VN]_activated
[LO]_pACC_Regulation_on_priority: [VN]_deactivated
[LO]_pACC_Reaction_to_end_of_traffic_jam: [VN]_deactivated
[LO]_Curve_assistent_CarMenu: [VN]_deactivated
[LO]_Speed_limit_assistent_CarMenu: [VN]_deactivated
SWaP-Fec 10009101 Or rather, what's the minimum i can turn off to just disable Speed Limit Preview, Road Ahead Preview, and End of Queue Preview? I still want ACC, just fed up with the thing slamming on the breaks on the motorway and etc. (At least I want them to default to off so i don't have to switch them off every time i step out and back in the car)
I don't really know what 'Gateway' means- is that a different odbeleven function that has the or a different control unit?

Actually, looking for pACC and Travel Assist is a tiny bit more fruitful, it's all interwoven it seems and i'd best be specific about what i want
I need acc rather than just basic cruise control, and I like the parking assist, I like seeing the last traffic signs on the dash(though can obviously live without this one). Really, all the other stuff, the previews, the emergency front assist are dodgy as heck and are best defaulting to off is possible.
I especially want the previews defaulting to off or disabled entirely, even at the expense of the parking assist, if that is necessary.
thanks again

I found [LO]_Curve_assistent: [VN]_activated and [LO]_Speed_limit_assistent: [VN]_activated, disabled them, and magic, the settings are off, awesome stuff.
