Greetings. I would like to change some functions on my mk7 that i have found in one click apps but i didn't find in the long list of changes that can be done without apps. Firstly, i would like to change the headlight washer count to the maximum possible, that way they still work but at the rarest. Is 20 the max count available? Where do i find this section in adaptation/long coding? EDIT: done, works. Secondly i would like to change the delay to consume the least liquid possible. EDIT: done, works. Third, where can i find the horn and the ability to make it always on? Even without ignition. Fourth, this one is really important, i would like to have my consumption display be as accurate as possible. Right now with winter tires and everything it shows about 0.6l/100km less than what i use for real. It's a bit annoying and i would like to narrow that gap. I have not found this anywhere, only in this app. EDIT: found it, needs to be tested. Lastly, the temperature at which the warning for cold weather comes on is by factory 4 degrees celsius. It's a bit high for the climate in my country, and i would change it to 2 degrees. Where can i find this, i assume somewhere in the dashboard section? EDIT: done, needs to be tested. Currently 8 degrees outside so it will be a few days till it drops again. I also have 2 more for which i found the coding/adaptations but don't work on my car. The folding mirrors comfort activation, and the mirror puddle lights with reverse. If anyone can help, i would totally appreciate it! Thanks!

1: Go to [09] Central Electronics Go into Security Access and enter 31347 Go to adaptation channels and set the following: Type "Windshield wiper:" Select "Anzahl Betaetigungen Frontwaschanlage pro SRA Aktivierung" Adjust value to preference 1-20
2: Go into [09] Central Electronics Go into Security Access and enter 31347 Go to adaptation channels and set the following: Type "Windshield wiper:" select "SRA Verzoegerungszeit:" set to "2000 ms" (But I think you may be reading that wrong as it’s for how long you pull the stork before the washer activated)
3: could be 16-long coding-steering horn activation, Change from terminal 15 to always (not tried this one tho as it’s just a guess)
4: nope I’m not going into that
5: dash- adaptions- outside temp- ice_warning You have 2 entry and exit, entry is when you want to come on (4 default) and exit is where you want it to go off (6) but as I understand this mod doesn’t always work

First thanks for the info provided! I really appreciate it.
In regards to the headlight washer, right now it always starts on the first wipe, it comes up and does a spray, then after 1-2 seconds it does another spray and goes down. If i change the times i need to pull the stalk to activate the washer to 20, then just by doing this i will save washer fluid. And for the delay, if i set it to 2000ms it means that when the washers come up, they will keep spraying for 2 seconds? Or does it mean that after i pull the stalk it will take 2 seconds for the washers to come up?
For the 4th one you don't know how, or is there some sort of issue in doing so? I can understand.
For the ice warning, i think i have read somewhere on this forum that there must always be a 2 degree difference, so if i set the entry from 4 to 2, then the exit will be 4 instead of 6. Is this correct? That way it should work i think?
I will test these tonight and i'll come with an update.
Thanks!

I haven’t got them so not 💯 sure, but as I understand if you change it to 20 then on the 20th spray it will wash the headlights like normal, Now the delay I think it’s you pull the stalk and is sprays the windscreen, now if you hold the stalk for the time you set it too (2500ms or 2.5 seconds say) then the headlights will get a wash, now if you want it to work this way you should set the first one to 1 so you can activate every time you hold the stalk back for 2.5 seconds, basically you control the headlamp washer by holdin the stalk

Ah, i see now. That's actually pretty smart. You only wash the windscreen in short bursts, and if you want headlights you keep the stalk pulled and they wash. I think i might do it this way!
As for something else that's been boggling my mind, i saw in the long list of adaptations the possibility of making the mirror puddle lights light up on reverse. I think i tried it but i cannot find the adaptation channel. I have the folding mirrors but i do not have the reverse camera. I think i read somewhere that it only works if you have a reverse camera? Do you have any info on that?
Also speaking of mirrors, currently they always fold when i lock my car. If i set it to comfort activation, i lock the car and the mirrors stay down, but if i hold lock on the key they don't fold up. They only fold up if i keep the unlock button on the key pressed until windows go down, and then i keep lock pressed and the mirrors fold up along with the windows. Is this normal? Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Yes you need highline reverse camera as you need to activate byte 08 bit 2 but I don’t know if anyone has actually got it working
I’m not sure I understand what your mirrors are doing tho, I just press the button (or door handle) and my mirror open/close with lock/unlock as they should

Here is a quick video on what i mean.
EDIT: I tested the headlights washer adaptations and it works. So now i need to hold the stalk 2 seconds for the headlight washers to come up, and if i do short bursts they don't come up. Perfect this way since it wont always wash my lights on the first time i use the washer after starting engine.
For the horn always on, i didn't find it, i went to module 16, but on long coding all bytes and bits are with no names, and when i looked for a video on youtube on this, it said byte 0 bit 7 needs to be unchecked and mine is unchecked.
For the fuel consumption, i did find the adaptation, it was on dashboard, i set it from 100% to 110%, i have to test if it shows values closer to real consumption now.

Ah ok that’s for older modules, now if you haven’t got access control 2 then it’s under something else Here’s my video of a 7.5
No descriptions in iOS that’s why

No descriptions in iOS that’s why I'm using android. But still, i will search for more i guess? Or maybe someone else will come up with an answer in the meantime. For the mirrors, interesting. My golf is from 2014 so it is not the facelift model. Still, i will go downstairs and try that and see if it does anything. I will come with an update soon.

Okay so i tried it again, switched it to comfort activation (the key long press thing) then back to normal (fold on normal press) then back to long press then back to short press. No matter what i do, if i leave it to the normal way (on short press) it works, no issues. If i switch it to long press, they never fold alone, they only fold if i pull windows down by long pressing unlock, then when i long press lock the windows go up and the mirrors fold up too. Strange?
