Hey guys!
I have a 22 golf r in Canada. I can’t turn off the ACC. I have clicked the button on the indicator arm and I don’t get the selection to disable to ACC.
Is there a way to have that option enabled?
I noticed you can do it on the GTI but not the R?

Isnt it on the steering wheel? Left hand buttons, top right button. Like a Rev counter with a 0/1 under it

That turns turns cruise on and off. But I can’t disable ACC and just have regular cruise. My camera and radar get blocked in winter all the time.

Hello I have an EU 2022 MK8 R solution:
Top button turn handle. Display shows ACC. OK button richt buttons on steer. It's not permanent.

Pushing in the end of the turn signal stalk brings up the menu in the center of the instrument console. The right up/down "buttons" and the OK on the steering wheel move and select/deselect ACC options. |

The Button on the steering wheel interacts with the "Longitudinal Coordinator" which is ACC, pACC, Speedlimiter or plain Cruise Control, depending on the specs, but does not change the coordinator.
Using the Assist Button, either located in the left stalks head (with travel assist) or another steering wheel button (no travel assist) you can switch between ACC (including pACC), Limiter or CCS.
CCS is disabled from factory when having ACC. You can still enable it in the Distance Regulation Control Unit (13): Use Long Coding to enable Cruise_control_mode (Byte 6 Bit 7).
When enabled, you can switch from ACC to CCS.

Can you activate normal cruise control if you just have speed limiter? Do you know this?
