2017 MK7 GTI LP question
What’s good everyone. Was hoping to find some advice on here and potentially help others out that may have the same question. I just bought these headlights off Amazon: a.co/d/c5xwQrm
The only problem is that if you have a 15-17 MK7 GTI with the lighting package. You cant direct connect these headlights. Which is fine I was able to put my stock ones back on in the meantime. Although I wish these other ones would work. They are all black. Sequential and double DRL U’s. I think they look much cooler.
Although I was doing research and came across this video on YouTube:
It looks like there may be a wiring harness change and coding that could allow someone to upgrade from Xenon to LED. Here is the harness that I found.

The only issue is. I can’t find any information on this subject. I can code myself so that isn’t an issue but I can’t find the changes to the code I’m supposed to make. I also look at the harness and see a bunch of extra wires. I have no idea where they would go.
Does anyone have any information on making this swap ? Is this actually a thing ?
