Hello,
I have Tiguan Allspace R-Line 2022. The car is equipped with IQ Lights but the Matrix function(Dynamic Light Assist) and Dynamic turn signals are optional and was not purchased when the car was ordered.
I have successfully installed the Dynamic turn signals app and both front and rear indicators are now dynamic.
After that I went with activating the HBA with IQ.Lights App and it also worked soft of fine - it seems like the matrix beams need some further calibration because they are not as smooth as my 2017 Tiguan's.
So, the problem - You know that when you start the engine the headlights do a presentation and go up and down. After installing the HBA with IQ.Lights App the left headlights stopped doing the "dance" and are not moving during the presentation. Only the right ones move up and down.
After that I also installed DLA presentation app with the hope that it might fix the left headlight. Well, the presentation become fancier with some matrix effects but the left headlight is still not moving.
I removed both HBA with IQ.Lights and DLA presentation apps and the left headlights are still not moving during presentation.
No faults and errors are generated concerning the headlights.
I am not a specialist in the car diagnostics but what I think is that there are multiple types of headlights that can be fitted in the cars, while the control units are identical. I think that the HBA app changed the type of the headlight and the control unit is not sending the correct commands to it.
I now purchased the VAG Pro plan so I can do adaptations and long coding in order to get this fixed.
Can you suggest me where should I look for settings related to the type headlights or settings related to the operation of the motors inside the headlights?
