Is there any way to change the angle of the passenger side view mirror when in reverse Golf R MK 8.Right now it only tilts down a few degrees which is almost useless it doesn't give you a good view of the side or the curb.

It is described in the manual.
But it should work like this.
Move gearbox to reverse, mirror moves to reverse position, then just adjust it to correct position.
Then drive away and mirror moves again to normal position.
